Oh and btw, for those of you who didn't see the SNL opening skit by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as VP candidate Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton, it was VERY amusing to me.
Tina Fey looks so much like Palin (or vice versa) that it's hilarious =)
I know who I'm voting for on Nov 4th...do you?
Check factcheck.org...it'll make things VERY clear.
They are complete lookalikes! I tuned into this at the way end on Saturday night and I was stunned. Everyone wants Tina Fey to come back to SNL just for that fabulous imitation!
ReplyDeleteI've been on factcheck.org a lot lately... it tends to be pretty bipartisan in my mind. I wonder what articles helped convince you one way or another...?
Hope your exams go well! Make sure to sleep and eat well... a comfortable body will get you a loong way (as I'm SURE you're learning!).
They are pretty bipartisan and that's what I LOVE about factcheck.org (cause then I don't have to worry about spin doctors). I've read most of their articles...
ReplyDeleteI'm not revealing my choice on purpose but my decision is pretty clear. I've never been so set in my life about my vote...I REALLY hope the voters make the right choice in this election! lol, if even I can see clearly for this election, surely most of the apathetic and ignorant voters in America can see as well! One thing is for sure though. I'll be praying for this election A LOT. I feel that this is a VERY monumental election in a LOT of ways...
good to see other folks writing about politics! =) it's good to see that other Christians are willing to write about both the importance of this election and informing oneself about political views\issues.
ReplyDeleteone real quick question: if you really hope that the voters make the right choice, wouldn't it follow that you would want to convince other people about why they should vote for the candidate whom you support, or at the very least talk about why you support your candidate? i feel the same way that you do--i hope that the voters make the right choice in this election, which is why i avidly share my views about why i believe that Obama is the best choice in the election and present reasons why McCain would not be a good choice for America. personally, i always find hearing about why someone supports a particular candidate rather interesting...hearing someone express a formulated set of ideas as to why they are voting one way or another is far more constructive than merely expressing a one-sentence political statement in an away message or Facebook status update. (if you don't want to make your choice known to the whole world, you could just always email one of us personally!)
btw, good luck on your exams! =)
