So you know what I think would be a really fun job for me? I realized this while shopping at Kohl's tonight for dress clothes for my dad (since he's still losing weight...he's 178 which is ALMOST 100 lbs of weight loss. He was 270 pre-surgery) and condo stuff with my family...(If a job like this even exists)
It's of course not something I would like to do long term at all but it would just be fun cause I enjoy this...this is definitely a more girl-y side of me that doesn't make an appearance very often (b/c I don't let it =P).
I would love to just spend all day helping guys find the perfect matching tie and dress shirt. I absolutely love it/really appreciate when a guy is looking very sharp in matching tie and shirt. I'm not just talking about color coordination here. I'm taking it up a notch and talking about patterned ties with shirts and vice versa. I absolutely love the colors in the ties and the infinite fashion possibilities in a really good tie. Each color brings out a different personality in the tie and in the person...lol I know, I'm a fashion nerd in this sense. I think Mikey G was the one that told that ties are really personal for a guy. You can tell a lot about a guy's personality just from the ties that he wears. I think I'd have to agree ;)
I actually just like to pick clothes for people in general...perhaps I should just work in a high class menswear store lol
I have too many interests...but at least now I know what I can fall back on if med school doesn't work out =P

ReplyDeleteso, i would agree with Mike on the tie thing. ties are a big deal :).
one day i want to go into brooks brothers...just to see the store. i have yet to dare go in :D...i think the best i've been in would be bachrach(which i still love to this day!)
