I forgot to post this while I was in CA and when I got back from CA. I had never heard of the term "hypermiling" until my cousin told me the term a few weeks ago. I knew of (and have also utilized) most of the basic, popular, and easy fuel conservation tips but seeing the video on cnn and reading the Washington Post story, I realized there was a whole world created around fuel conservation that I had never even heard of. I'm probably just old on the uptake and people have probably heard of this news by now but oh well...I thought it was interesting so I'm posting it. Call me a slowpoke when it comes to news, trends, etc =P...

"Drivers can also increase fuel economy by driving lighter-weight vehicles and minimizing the amount of luggage, tools, and equipment carried in the vehicle."
ReplyDeleteHey, at least you have better fuel efficiency than me... even w/o luggage, my poor car has to lug me around! I bet if you drove my car, its MPG would increase by like 10 hahaha. =)
