With love, From God

I didn't really think it was that important to celebrate my birthday this year or for people to know when my birthday was (for multiple legitimate reasons).

But God has been absolutely amazing today. Words cannot describe what I feel about Him. Even though I told Him that I am content with the love that He gives me daily, today, He has given me even more than the usual.
I love flowers. Especially roses. And today, my family and I went to our favorite Japanese restaurant to celebrate. We had told the owner last week that we were coming and that it was going to be my birthday. We're good friends with the owner and all the sushi chefs so it's always a good time. At the end of our meal (we had our absolutely fantastic meal and our ice cream cake, which we brought and shared with them), out of nowhere, the owner hands me a bouquet of a dozen pink roses. I am floored. Speechless. I've had previous birthdays there before and he didn't do that. I knew immediately that they were from God. And I am so touched and moved even more now as I type this...How did the owner know which flowers to buy? He could have bought any kind of flowers...the cheaper kind even. But these were roses. 12 of them. God knows my heart and knows my thoughts. He knows the deepest desires of my heart though I never admit them to anyone, nor even to myself. But when I saw those roses, I knew. I knew that God was addressing that very pure and deep desire in my heart. And I am so touched...

Thank you God. Thank you so much. This gift is one of the best gifts I have ever received and I will remember this birthday for a really long time.
